I've had some severe audio issues for almost a year now and through that year I've sucked it up and dealt with the constant audio lag, distortion, crackling, and popping. But I'm absolutely fed up with it now, so I want to solve the problem just so I don't have to deal with it anymore. If I remember correctly, my audio started crackling/popping when I installed my new video card and I was playing around with the settings in AMD Catalyst Control Center. Ever since then the problem will not go away. I'm aware that DPC Latency Checker doesn't show the correct latency on Windows 8, but when it's that high there's no doubt that something's wrong.
The crackling and distortion is at it's worst when I'm either gaming or watching streams via Twitch, YouTube, Vimeo, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
