Using Windows 8 as primary OS

I like the simplicity, and if I ever come across a touchscreen interface, then Windows 8 would be my choice, but for a desktop computer with mouse and keyboard, i'm still not used to it yet. Been accustomed to the original style of Windows for quite a few years now, so it may take me a bit longer to warm up to the style of Windows 8 with it's user functionality and layout...

I have been using it as my sole OS since WDP. I didnt like Metro but did like several other features. I dont own a portable device but still have come to know and like it.

That's like me, I like one thing and don't really like another; Metro was nice, Tileview was bad, now no start menu is another thing which I deem bad. Sure it saves a bit of space on the taskbar at the bottom for actual windows, but now that hover thing just takes an extra half second to open up the tileview (or the start menu).

I look forward to this protogon/refs filesystem though, that will be quite awesome...

Windows 8 isn't my prime OS, but I do have Windows 8 bootmgr as my default, as I have Windows 8 as a VHD on my computer which I can boot from. Windows 7 bootmgr is replaced with the Windows 8 bootmgr and I must say, looks fairly clean :)

If you guys haven't seen the Windows 8 Boot Manager, i'll have to see what screenshot's I can take of it.

Edit: ahh here it is, found one on Google:

Mine has Windows 7 and Windows 7 Consumer's Preview however.
