Not sure if this belongs here, but I've noticed my USB 3.0 ports are not giving me anywhere near the speeds I should be getting. I don't know if it's because of just how old my System overall is, or what is going on. When I run Crystal Disk Mark on my External Drive, I get the same speeds on USB 2.0 vs USB 3.0. I've ruled out the drive, as I tested it on my friends laptop and I was getting the following:
Sequential Read (Q= 32,T= 1) : 115.495 MB/s
Sequential Write (Q= 32,T= 1) : 116.036 MB/s
This is on USB 3.0 on my PC, with standard Windows drivers:
Sequential Read (Q= 32,T= 1) : 32.557 MB/s
Sequential Write (Q= 32,T= 1) : 32.395 MB/s
This is USB 3.0 with drivers from Mobo website:
Sequential Read (Q= 32,T= 1) : 32.342 MB/s
Sequential Write (Q= 32,T= 1) : 31.769 MB/s
Speccy throws up an error when I try to publish, so I saved my specs as a text file.
