I dont know if the cause of the lag is because of this but i would love if someone could help me fixing this... its really annyoing me and killing my game.
Cheers,

Have you checked your CPU temperature? HWMONITOR | Softwares | CPUID

On that page, be careful not to click on the advertisement links. Scroll down to the SETUP - ENGLISH (32 and 64-bit version). Monitor your maximum temperature after running your game for 10-20 minutes and post a screenshot of HWMonitor similar to the following:

Temperatures look good.

Have you tried resetting your BIOS to see if some issue creeped up with your hardware/software configuration?

3 Ways to Reset Your BIOS - wikiHow

See Method 2 of the following guide to enter your BIOS:

How to Enter BIOS: 8 Steps (with Pictures) - wikiHow

You do not need to clear the BIOS with all three methods in the first link. Resetting to defaults (optimized defaults/setup defaults/etc.) through the BIOS user interface is sufficient.

If the above fails, have a go with https://www.sysnative.com/forums/wi...c-latency-issues-wpa-windows-vista-7-8-a.html

For Step II, part 1. of that tutorial, use the Windows 10 ADK instead: Download the Windows ADK

Finally type this line and press Enter:
xperf %userprofile%\Desktop\trace.etl

C:\Users\crz>xperf %userprofile%\Desktop\trace.etl
xperf: error: C:\Users\crz\Desktop\trace.etl: The parameter is incorrect. (0x80070057).

Usage: xperf options ...

xperf -help start for logger start options
xperf -help providers for known tracing flags
xperf -help stackwalk for stack walking options
xperf -help stop for logger stop options
xperf -help merge for merge multiple trace files
xperf -help processing for trace processing options
xperf -help symbols for symbol decoding configuration
xperf -help query for query options
xperf -help mark for mark and mark-flush
xperf -help format for time and timespan formats on the command line

You should be able to open the trace.etl file manually by double clicking on the file itself if you cannot open it through the command line. Was the trace.etl file created?

That indicates a possible issue with your display card drivers. Try installing different driver sets from NVIDIA and see if you can find a set that provides less latency. I would recommend starting with drivers that were created before you recall seeing issues with your gaming.

Hi crankz (and writhziden). :welcome:

Try this: click start, type msconfig, press enter on your keyboard, click the boot tab, click advanced options, tick number of processors, select 4, click ok, click ok, reboot.

I'm running fine with the latest drivers on my 1060 and on my 960M, so no, I do not know what would be best for your system. You'll have to check through trial and error to see if anything helps.
