Dear Sysnative selfless geniuses ;)

I've been trying to upgrade to Windows 10 version 20H2 without success automatically within Windows Update.

Other updates that should be already installed seem to interfere, namely KB4586876 (Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows Server, version 20H2 for x64), KB4598242 (Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 20H2 for x64-based Systems).

I have performed a sfc /scannow that found anomalies that could not be repaired by DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth without success, even using a source file directly from a Media Creation Tool generated via Microsoft instructions (Download Windows 10): DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:esd:F:\Sources\Install.esd:1 /limitaccess.

Every time I try to upgrade it fails and rolls back with the following error: "0x8007001F - 0x20006 The installation was not successful. Error in Phase SAFE_OS during REPLICATE_OC."

I have tried all the fixes suggested through Google search, including emptying install cache, disconnecting internet, changing safe boot option in BIOS, manually updated all optional driver updates from Windows update...

SFCfix found errors that it could not fix, running into the same DISM problems, apparently.

I have attached the required files, including from FRST.

I have seen your "success stories" and have a lot of faith in your wisdom and experience.

I thank you in advance!

Hi Ether

Apologies for the delay and welcome to sysnative.

I'll have a look over the logs and post back some further instructions.

Hi

So I have a fresh log please try the upgrade again and post the CBS log when it fails
