We have an SBS 2011 server that has been having problems updating for some time. It appears that when we run a manual update and reboot, it installs fine. But we have a bunch that need to be run. I'm thinking there might be one (or more?) updates that are causing this problem and if we can narrow down which one. . .

I went through the various logs and nothing is jumping out at me. I ran sfcfix and that was clean, SUR was clean.

Updates were installed the evening of 2/15. Didn't get a reboot in until last night around 10:30pm.

I have uploaded our CBS directory as well as the windowsupdate.log file in the below link. The CBS log is huge unfortunately. Hopefully someone can open it if needed.

Let me know if there's anything else I can provide for troubleshooting purposes. THANKS!

Code:
2016-02-16 22:38:05, Info CBS SQM: Reporting poqexec status with status: 0xc0000043, failed file: arialbd.ttf, interfering process: csrss.exe,ppbed.exe, context: Shutdown, first merged sequence: 2538

I'm not sure, but it appears that arialbd.ttf is still in use - possibly by CyberPower Power Panel Business Edition.
Try stopping and disabling the Power Panel service (temporarily), then try the updates again and see if that makes any difference.

Wow, compared to our last adventure - that was incredibly easy! Thanks again for your help, all patches installed. Piece of cake!

Glad to help :thumbsup2:

I'll mark the thread solved. Please post back if you encounter any problems.
