[SOLVED] Update KB4534310 fails

It would not let me zip the CBS folder. Said file not found.
I selected all the files in the folder and zipped together I hope that works.
 
Follow the instructions below to run a scan with the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) and provide a log.
  1. Download SURT for your system. (Windows 7 SP1 x64)
  2. Once downloaded, execute the installer, and go through the installation (this process can take around 15-20 minutes).
  3. On completion, a log will be created in C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log.
  4. Attach this log to your next reply.

Which browser do you use ?
What anti-virus program is installed ?
 
I am using google chrome and I have Malwarebytes for virus.
When I click on SURT it just blinks and does no more.
When I use the alternative method I select the one for this computer but the RED DOWNLOAD button does not become active.
Can I download on another computer and move it here with a memory stick?

Sure, use the first downloadlink.
If you get a warning about an unsecure downloadlink because of HTTP, you can ignore that.
 
just got a report from ATT that there is a problem with my internet and it is running very slow.
Sending a tech tomorrow to repair it.
Is it possible this is causing my download problem?
 
A slow internet speed may cause a download failure but it is rare. One would expect it just takes more time.
You can access this forum and posting messages so internet does work.
Please do following:

SFC Scan
  1. Click the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each.

    Code:
    sfc /scannow
    Wait for this to finish before you continue

    Code:
    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
  4. This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.
    Note: if the file is too big to upload to your next post please upload via a service such as Gofile or WeTransfer and just provide the download link.

Try to install KB4534310 again and report the result.
If it fails, copy the file C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\cbs.log to your desktop.
Zip the copied file and attach the zipped cbs.log to your next reply.
