update hardware drivers

Uh, what issue? If you have something that was going on elsewhere, whether another site or another topic on this site, a direct link to the pertinent location to establish context is required. We're not mind readers.

Appreciate the good sense of humor

Looks like there were some issues yesterday with the attachment system. Should hopefully be fixed - could you try uploading again and see if it works now?

You can right click the device & search the hardware ID that's shown in properties.
Chances are it'll turn out to be the Intel Management Engine
Older versions of which there's no Windows 10 driver for, & with a 2nd gen Core processor you're either in or close to that territory.
If that's what it is, & the Intel Driver & support assistant offers no driver, then you might just have to live with the yellow triangle.

Lol forreal final answer? So... you brought rain to the parade. I read a provided article and found Malwarebytes very useful for the link provided.

Can you actually tell me what the yellow exclamation means? there has to be a solution, man made means man made solution.

Actually, there isn't necessarily a solution. That yellow exclamation point indicates there is a device driver problem for the device.

I don't know what anyone can give you other than links to the suggested fixes, and if they don't work, they don't. The search results I referred to include the Intel Driver & Support Assistant (which I happen to use, but not specifically because of the issue you're reporting), as well as manufacturer-specific options.

Having a device that you probably never use (a guess, not a definitive statement) have a driver issue is not exceedingly uncommon. I've had machines with a couple of these. If everything I need to do is working just fine, it's a big old "meh."

Whether your machine works for doing what you need to do is really all that matters. There really are things that are "normal failures" (and reading a Windows Event Log without filtering shows thousands per day) that can just be ignored.

Now now to a new issue. Whats with this portable driver F: the only thing thats installed on my laptop is my usb for my mouse that cant be F: but when i removed it the F left too..
Thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated.

Thx in advance.

Oh notice the exclamation point being gone too
