On a windows 8.1 machine, I had an issue where it would not recognize a Logitech wireless USB dongle. I performed sfc /scannow and found errors, "repaired", ran DISM:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RepairHealth
and it replied that errors were fixed.
Rebooted, and it updated, then undid updates automatically due to failure. Other USB devices mount properly.
Dongle still will not load driver.
It shows as an Unknown Device, under Device Manager>>Other Devices (there are 3 instances of that)
The Mouse is new, M310 (Win 8 compatible)
I have tried the dongle on another machine with no issue.
I am running sfc /scannow now, and SFCFix. If no one has an idea of the issue, I will post the results.
Thank you.
