Hi,

updates KB2491683, KB2506928, KB2544893, KB2654428, KB2798162, KB2799926,
KB2893519, KB2918614, KB2928562, KB3004361 and KB3008627 fail on my computer with "unknown errors 800B0100 and 8007065E". Clicking on "further help" returns help on completely different error numbers :banghead:.

I attach CBS.log, CheckSUR.log and SFCFix.txt. Running SFCFix did not change the error messages in CheckSUR.log

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Let's see if this fixes you up. Please do the following.

Step#1 - Fix Corrupt Files
Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.
  1. Please download the attached file, Packs.zip and save this to your Desktop.
  2. Right-click on the file and select Extract All...
  3. Tick the box labelled Show extracted files when complete then click Extract
  4. A window will open showing two folders, Manifests and Packages
  5. Open the Manifests folder and copy the files into the following folder (if there are any files). If the Manifests folder doesn't exist within Winsxs you will need to create it.
    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Winsxs\Manifests
  6. Open the Packages folder and copy the files into the following folder (if there are any files). If the Packages folder doesn't exist within Servicing you will need to create it.
    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages
  7. Run the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) again.
  8. When the SURT finishes installing, zip up and attach the following log file:
    C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log

All errors were fixed!

Code:
 Found 27 errors
 Fixed 27 errors

Go ahead and install your updates. It's not uncommon to have to download the failed updates manually after doing fixes like this. So if it doesn't install normally then try downloading and installing.

Yes, that is what happend. After manual installation of the pending updates, 30 new ones appeared in the update manager, 3 of which also had to be installed manually. Now I am current :smile9:!

Thanks for your help!
