About a month ago during an update session my computer froze. The 4 updates that it was busy with did not want to install afterwards and I kept on getting an error code in the update window. Today I again tried to resolve the problem. I followed a help link and installed The System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 (KB947821) [May 2014]
That took care of two of the 4 updates that would not install.
The following two updates will however not install
1) Security Update for Windows (KB2931356) Installation date: 2014/06/17 10:17 PM Installation status: Failed Error details: Code 80073712 Update type: Important Fix for KB2931356
