Unexplainable Crashes

Hello!

Last Friday, I was closing out of a game, and it got stuck. I let it sit for around 30 minutes on a frozen screen, then I turned it off. Since I turned it back on, I have been getting random blue screens. After 3 days of this, I got annoyed and tried to reset my computer. Every time I try, it says that it "Wasn't able to reset, and changes have been reverted." I tried sfc /scannow. It runs and says nothing is wrong. I ran DISM with all of the arguments to do RestoreHealth. It stops at about 38% with error 14090. I ran SFCFix. It stops at the DISM part with the same error, and notes something earlier about "errno 2". Something is wrong, and I don't know what. I have attached the requested files, and I have attached my DISM file as well. I updated all of my drivers.

Also noting, the crash messages say something along the lines of a page_fault_in_nonpaged_area with win32kfull.sys, crashes with cdd.dll, and critical_structure_corruption.

I would recommend contacting MSI since the system is fairly new. Your crashes are primarily pointing to a hardware issue. The likely cause is faulty memory.

If you want to continue troubleshooting without contacting MSI, Test RAM With Memtest86+ but do not physically touch any of the hardware components while you are under warranty with MSI.


To rule out possible corruption that may have occurred due to a hard shut down, perform some hard disk diagnostics: Hard Drive (HDD) Diagnostics + SSD Test


You can also open an elevated command prompt by right clicking on Start and choosing Command Prompt (Admin) (or PowerShell (Admin) and typing cmd in PowerShell).

In the elevated command prompt, type

[B]chkdsk C: /r[/B]
The type of the file system is NTFS.
Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process.  Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N) [B]Y[/B]
