Understanding CBS.log after running sfc.

While playing battlefield hardline i kept getting a direct x error unfortunately i could alt+tab to it to see the whole error but when i check the event viewer i get this error listed.

[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]I did some looking around someone suggested running a sfc. After running that i got a message saying that it completed but there were some items it could not repair to check the cbs.log. I didn't think the log would be this large and i am honestly not sure what i'm looking for in here. any help is appreciated. I hope it attached correctly if not i will post the whole in a response. I dont think this will repair your issue with your game, as the corrupt file is a pretty normal one with Windows 8:

Download and Run SFCFix

Please download and run SFCFix from >Here<

It will take about 15 minutes to process. Once the scan has completed a notepad file will launch with the results. Please copy and paste the entire contents of the results and post them back into this thread. Please put [CODE][/CODE] tags around the log to break up the text.

SFC /SCANNOW
  1. Right click on the

  2. Click on Command prompt (Admin) => Press Yes on the prompt
  3. Inside the Command Prompt windows copy and paste the following command SFC /SCANNOW
  4. Please wait for this to Finish before continuing with rest of the steps.
Convert CBS.log to CBS.txt
  1. Right click on the

    button
  2. Click on Run => Inside the run box copy and paste the following command:

    cmd /c copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
  3. Press Enter
  4. Once this has completed please go to your Desktop and you will find CBS.txt, please rename this file to CBS_{Insert forum username here}_{insert todays Date here}.txt For example "CBS_Go The Power_1803.txt"
  5. Please upload CBS_{Username}_{Date}.txt to this thread.

Please Note:: if the file is too big to upload to you next post please upload via Dropbox or One Drive
