Hi,
First i want to apologize if my English is not perfect (i'm French).
Here is my problem. Since several week i'm triying to install the W10 update 2004 (my current build is 1909, 64 bits W10 professionnal version) but each time it faills at the second boot with the BSOD system thread not handled. The code is 0xc1900101 0x40017 (Driver issue). I tried several time to use the DSIM and SFC commands but failled to correct the issue.
I also tried to use SFCfix but each time it crash so i'm asking some help.
Thanks very much in advance !
Laurent

Please do the following:

Step#1 - FRST Scan

1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Right-click FRST64.exe and click Run as Administrator to run it as administrator. When the tool opens, click Yes to disclaimer.
3. Please ensure you place a check mark in the Addition.txt check box at the bottom of the form before running (if not already checked).
4. Press Scan button.
5. It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should now be the desktop)
6. Please attach the log back here.
7. Another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST64.exe) will be generated Please also attach that along with the FRST.txt in your reply.

Well, Kaspersky is no longer on my pc since many months now and Malwarebytes was not installed when i tried to update Windows, but i'll uninstalled it right now.

Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump, copy the contents to Desktop, zip them up and attach them here.
Unfortanately i don't have this folder on C:\Windows as you can see. where do you think it could be localised ? I've also checked into C:\Windows\System & System32 but nothing's inside these folders. Thanks.

Okay, what external devices are connected to the PC?
Do you mean what external devices connected "right now" or do you need the whole list of my usb devices ?
If your question is "right now", there's nothing connected to my computer.

Yes, there is something connected or installed device-wise that is preventing the upgrade. I would recommend that you uninstall everything from Canon, Fiio, Genesys, Nord VPN, Registry Defragmenter and Compactor, Universal Adb Driver, WIBU Key, IOBit Driver Booster and run the following fix as well which will enable you to fully remove Kaspersky which is present.

Step#1 - FRST Fix
NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system
1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Download the attached fixlist.txt and save it to the Desktop.
Note. It's important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work (in this case...the desktop).
3. Run FRST64 by Right-Clicking on the file and choosing Run as administrator.
4. Press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
5. When finished FRST64 will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please post the contents of it in your reply.
