Can you please temporarily remove mcafee from your system while we troubleshoot and see it it makes a difference? Make sure to use the removal tool they provide.

Hi, I removed my antivirus which wasn'T mcaffe but AVG. I then tried to install the update and a new one which was now available (KB4054518) in two separate attempts. Both of them failed... HEre is the link to my cbs and inf files:

Thanks for your help.

Can you please navigate to the following registry key and check whether it is present: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MMC\NodeTypes\{a841b6c7-7577-11d0-bb1f-00a0c922e79c}\Extensions\PropertySheet\{fedb2179-2335-48f1-aa28-5cda35a2b36d}

If yes, please export it.

Here is the content of this registry. I didn't find a way to copy and opload it:
ASP.NET MMC Extension Instance Node

Is this what you need?

I can't delete the key, I get and error message : Impossible to delete the specified values (in french)

Yes there is another update acting the same way : KB4054518
some other updates installed without issue...

Step#1 - FRST Scan

1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Right click to run as administrator. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
3. Please ensure you place a check mark in the Addition.txt check box at the bottom of the form before running (if not already).
4. Press Scan button.
5. It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should now be the desktop)
6. Please attach the log back here.
7. Another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST64.exe) will be generated Please also attach that along with the FRST.txt in your reply.

I removed HP encryption software and tried again installing both update separatelly, but still no luck...
