Hi,

I've been having windows update issues with this PC for a few months now (windows 7 64bit).
Certain updates won't install, then if they eventually succeed another update will fail.
Unable to install Cumulative KB4489878
The latest error codes given by windows update is 8024200D

I've tried a few of the methods suggested on the microsoft support site,
but none have worked.
Now hoping someone here can help please.

Here is the CheckSur and SFCFIX

ReainessTool Windows6.1-KB947821-v34-x64 was unable to fix it

Thanks

IvanG from italy

Great.
Check Windows Update again and report the result.
If it fails, run sfc /scannow again and attach the zipped cbs.log to your next reply.

I did but still unable to update
I think something wrong in permission over Hive Components e sqm
in CBS
SQM: Failed to start upload with file pattern: C:\windows\servicing\sqm\*_std.sqm, flags: 0x2 [HRESULT = 0x80004005 - E_FAIL]
Failed to unload the COMPONENTS hive. [HRESULT = 0x80070005 - E_ACCESSDENIED]

Hope that attached files will help you to understand the problem
