unable to apply the last 2 cumulative updates from Dec20 and Jan20 - HRESULT = 0x80073701 - ERROR_SXS_ASSEMBLY_MISSING

Hi,

The tutorials has helped me fixed all my corruptions reported in CBS and now sfc, dism, and sfcfix scans all report no corruptions.

However, still can't apply updates and CBS log reports these errors in both cases. Snippits below and full log attached.

Any insights on what I can try and do next would be appreciated.

also, the issue is somewhat similar to this post kb4560960 - Error: 0x80073701 - Error: 14081 in that no specific pkg is mentioned. That thread is not solved, but curious why the helper asked for this "microsoft-onecore-applicationmodel-sync-desktop-fod-package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.18362.329"
