Hello everyone,

I am having some trouble when I try to install the toshiba driver for the printer I got at work. The printer is a Toshiba e-STUDIO3555C so I downloaded the PCL/PS driver from Here as I got a X64 W8.1.
However whenever I try to install it I got an error during the installation "The Arguments are invalid".

You can find the installation log attached.

Thank you in advance for your help.View attachment Driver.LOG

I have never encountered this before but I found this solution (the part following "I had the same problem and stumbled...") from Kiran Jayakumar helped several with the same problem.

Actually I already read this thread and the problem is that the drivers are not installed on mine so I can not use this trick..
Does the log I attached to my previous message does not mention some more details about the error ?

The gist was to install the printer driver as a "local" device first - that should install the driver, then you can change or add another as a networked device.

Oh I did not mention that but that was my only option anyway because I do not know why but my computer can not find the printer on the network so I am forced to install it localy but whatever I try always getting the same error.
Nothing interesting on the log report ?

Logs and me don't get along. My background is as an electronics technician. So I do better with a multimeter probe in one hand, and a soldering iron in the other.

So is this a new printer? Perhaps you should contact Toshiba tech support - unless someone else happens by with some suggestions.
