Hi, I'm currently having BSoD issues on my Thinkpad E485:

  • A brief description of your problem (but you can also include the steps you tried) (system may crash at random, especially when running programs like TeamViewer)
  • System Manufacturer? (Lenovo)
  • Laptop or Desktop? (Laptop)
  • Exact model number (if laptop, check label on bottom) (ThinkPad E485, Type 20KU)
  • OS ? (Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista) (Windows 10)
  • x86 (32bit) or x64 (64bit)? (x64)
  • (Only for Vista, Windows 7) Service pack? (N/A)
  • What was original installed OS on system? (Windows 10)
  • Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)? (OEM)
  • Age of system? (hardware) (4 years)
  • Age of OS installation? (4 years)
  • Have you re-installed the OS? (No)
  • CPU (Ryzen 2700U)
  • RAM (brand, EXACT model, what slots are you using?) (slot 1, SK Hynix, 16GB)
  • Video Card (N/A)
  • MotherBoard - (if NOT a laptop)
  • Power Supply - brand & wattage (if laptop, skip this one)
  • Is driver verifier enabled or disabled? (No)
  • What security software are you using? (Firewall, antivirus, antimalware, antispyware, and so forth)
  • Are you using proxy, vpn, ipfilters or similar software?
  • Are you using Disk Image tools? (like daemon tools, alcohol 52% or 120%, virtual CloneDrive, roxio software) (No)
  • Are you currently under/overclocking? Are there overclocking software installed on your system? (No)
I'm suspecting that the CPU may be failing, but please do advise me on this.
Dump files are attached below.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Can you please follow the BSOD posting instructions and upload the BSOD Collection App output? However, for this particular BSOD we also need the full kernel dump. It's the file C:\Windows\Memory.dmp and it will be too large to upload to here, so please upload it to a cloud service (Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, etc.) and post a link to it here - be sure to make it public.

Also, can you be more specific on the names of the security products you use please?

And yes, this BSOD is most often the result of a bad CPU, but it is also possible that this may be a driver error. Lets see what the kernel dump has to say first.
