Hello, I have a video card nvidia GT 710, connected by HDMI, during the pot is not seen the image of the BIOS. If anyone can help me very grateful in advance. Best regards.

We need more information. This is most likely a setting in your motherboard's BIOS Setup Menu and not a problem with your card.

For some ASUS boards, in the BIOS Setup Menu under the BOOT menu there is an option called "CSM" (Compatibility Support Module). This is Enabled by default. Changing this to "Auto" typically fixes this issue, though you may have to try "Disabled". For some Gigabyte boards, the options are Enabled and Disabled only (no Auto).

Of course this a Catch-22 issue. You need to see the BIOS Setup Menu so you can change a setting in the BIOS Setup Menu. But you can't see the menu to make the change. So you may have to change to VGA or Display port instead of HDMI just to make this change. That may even mean temporarily swapping in a different monitor.

Also, when you install a card, if your board supported integrated (On-board) graphics, the integrated graphics is supposed to disable itself. If yours didn't, or you manually enabled it, there should be setting in the BIOS Setup Menu to set the Initial Display Output to the PCIe slot. You don't normally have to change this but it might be worth a try.

Hello, I have a problem, my motherboard is an ASRock H110M-HDV R3.0, when I put the options of csm in uefi you can not see the windows logo, but if you see the image of the bios by hdmi. If I change it to legacy it does not show me the image of the bios but then it starts windows well. All this with an HDMI cable. Thank you very much. Greetings.

There is also a "Fast Boot" option that disables the display of the fancy "splash screens" during boot. But you should still be able to hit the access BIOS menu key (F2 or Del) when prompted.

Hello, I was able to solve the problem with the following command mbr2gpt / convert / allowfullOS and putting the csm options in uefi.

mbr2gpt / convert / allowfullOS would not affect this because the seeing video in the BIOS menu occurs before the drive is touched during POST and the OS is read in. So I am certain it was changing the CSM option.

Anyway, I am glad you got it sorted out and thanks for posting your solution! :)
