they used to be about the same size as the windows logo.... the only thing i changed recently is my TV from a 46 to a 65, i cant see that as a problem since nothing else changed....

Interesting. Since it was fine before you changed TV's it would seem that's the culprit. But the question is, why just the taskbar icons?

It is just those icons not any of the others correct?

Open an elevated command prompt. click start type cmd then CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER.

An elevated command should open. In this command window copy/paste taskkill /f /im explorer.exe && start explorer.exe and hit enter.

What this command does is restart the shell, Windows explorer.exe which hopefully will reset whatever went awry with the taskbar icons.

Let us know if this helps.

Thanks.

TV has changed. I suspect the problem will be the resolution on the larger television. Right-click the desktop, select Display settings and fiddle with Display Resolution. Try a higher resolution setting.

Hi.

From the image you attached, it seems:

1. You have enabled/created a Toolbar on the Taskbar. This is what changed the Taskbar arrangement in my opinion.

2. You have the Taskbar UNlocked.

Questions:

1. What's the Untitled-Paint shown at the right side of the Taskbar?
2. Can you please click on the arrow beside the Toolbars tab (as shown in your attached image) and take another screenshot for us to check?

If you right click on a blank space on the Taskbar > Taskbar setting, you will see a setting for "Use small taskbar buttons". See what happens when you flip that.

from the picture i sent you can clearly say its already set to small icons, anyway, the reset explorer.exe worked, i dont know why i didnt think of that, ive use that several time ages ago, i suppose with the times of not needing it i forgot about it thank you very much
