Hello, I have recently got a job as a IT helpdesk helping maintainig about 400 computers and been tasked with sorting out all the computers with Windows update problems that WSUS is reporting (About 30 now), I have been using your forums and learning alot. Just want to say Hi and thanks for your time.

Well now I have done 2 computers with multiple update problems and using your advice solved them both... Run SURT, look at log file and find corrupt "manifest" and "packages", download the approriate update, extract the files needed and replace in temp folder and re-run SURT!

I have now took it a step further and made a package on PDQ that runs SURT and copies the log files for me to look at. Then another one to copy the folders to target computer and re-run SURT.
While I know it won't solve everything it is going to cut my workload down alot.

Thanks again
