Which, if true, is yet another demonstration of exactly why good cops (of which the ranks are myriad) covering for bad cops needs to be considered "bad cop" behavior.
The "Blue Line" needs to be a thing of the past. Law enforcement has no right to break the law nor avoid doing what anyone else would do for someone severely injured, even if that someone is a criminal.
If what is reported is true, then it should have been a "no questions asked, no possible justification" firing offense.
