Hi gurus!

I have managed to hassle my PC so that it nags just about everything. Now I started TASK SCHEDULER for a third time today and everytime it gives me these strange errors. I have no idea what this is all about, I just really don't wanna start reinstalling my PC with huge amounts of software so I hope you could help.

So first: I start the TASK SCHEDULER and immediately the following error appears in the screen:

Task scheduler error.jpg

Then, when I hit the OK / Enter the following error appears:

Task scheduler error2.jpg

And again, after hitting OK the following error appears again:

Task scheduler error3.jpg

And at this point in some moment it told me that TASK SCHEDULER Service is not running and that TASK SCHEDULER is trying to manage the situation somehow.

And I can guarantee that that service has been running all the time. Below is the picture from the SERVICES app:

Task scheduler service IS running.jpg

This is strange since I remember have today similar kind of errors while I was using IOBIT UNINSTALLER and it was open in the background all the time. So maybe the fault is not in the Task Scheduler but some actual task is corrupted or something like that and I have no clue how to solve this.

Is there anyway You guys could help me? Just ask and I will send You anything You need to look into this problem. THANK YOU AGAIN!

Why are you using IOBIT Uninstaller? It is best to uninstall programs with the program's own uninstaller or via Control Panel > Programs and Features. I personally would not recommend using IOBIT. If a program fails to properly uninstall, I will look for a program removal tool from the program's site. Short of that, I use REVO Uninstaller as a last resort option - never a first option.

Have you rebooted to see if Task Scheduler then works?

Have you scanned for malware?
