Hello everyone, its my first topic on this forum, im not english native: please forgive me. I usually don't create threads but i must admit that this time i have no clue about what to do.
I decided a few days ago to buy : Ryzen 3 3300 X + MotherBoard B450M DS3H + 2*8go corsair vengeance lpx DDR4 2666MHz in order to boost my config. Since the first boot i get istant blue screen with "system threads exception not handled" error. I can't even access to windows login screen. It never happened before.

MotherBoard BIOS version is the latest : f50 and its specified on the box that is already updated to match Ryzen 3 processors.

Firstly i tried to boot in safe mode: i tried to launch pressing F8, shift + F8, F5: impossible, it never worked. Then i saw i could force repair tool screen by booting on a windows 10 USB key (which i did with the latest version available i found : v.1903) but once again, instant blue blue screen with the same error : "system threads exception not handled". I can't even do a clean install on my SDD it makes non sense to me. I don't get it.

Since i can't boot in safe mode i start suspecting hardware compatibility problem: RAM frequency:2666MHz? power issues?

It seems people usually restore it by resolve drivers compatibility issues (but how could i since i can't launch in safe mode ?) or changing RAM (i tested to boot with one RAM stick and the other independently on all the 4 slots, no improvement).

Maybe i should send it all back... I don't know what to do.

Thanks anyway and have a good day!

Do you still have your previous RAM modules when your system was able to load Windows?

I cannot say for sure what the issue is since I typically build Intel systems, but it may be an issue with the RAM you purchased. I would stick with compatible RAM with Ryzen chips that are also compatible with your motherboard:

https://www.amd.com/en/products/ryzen-compatible-memory/ready-for-amd-ryzen
https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_b450m-ds3h_matisse.pdf

The Corsair modules you have are not listed as compatible with Ryzen chips; that does not necessarily mean they are not compatible, but they have not been tested by AMD. I would also recommend trying to get a 3200MHz RAM kit.

Yeah you may be right. I added a speaker to my MoBo and i observed that every time i try to boot it beeps shortly once. According to the constructor site, this MoBo's BIOS is AMI and it seems that the beep code is corresponding to:" DRAM refresh failure". I will try to get a new RAM kit. I will keep you up to date !

So, i tried a new RAM kit, tested with both the CPU and the motherboard, 3200MHz, exact same issue. I suspect driver compatibility issues but i can't figure out why it's impossible to boot on my USB drive. I will try to do a clean install of Windows 10 on my SSD via an other computer and then try to boot on it. We shall see.

I solved the whole problem this way : installing the latest windows 10 version via USB booting on my SSD from an other PC. I never thought it would be what I had to do but... I can't explain it, it's working that's all it matters!

I wonder if your chipset drivers from your previous system were interfering. Were you running off the same SSD and Windows installation from your previous hardware configuration?
