hello fellas, today i was curious about after 30 minutes the pc shut off to hibernate and doesn't, i try to put 1 minute monitor and 1 minute hibernate and seems doesn't work. I don't know if is something about any updates that make this happened. If any want to help me out about this i will appreciate.

Thanks,

PC or notebook? PCs should use hybrid mode. Notebooks hibernate.

Try setting the Monitor to 15, then 20 for the computer, save, and reboot. Then see what happens.

Did you reboot after making those changes?

Also note it could be Windows doing housekeeping or your security or other apps scanning or updating. If me, I would walk away for a couple hours and see if still running.

Is the ability to hibernate turned on?

It's not enabled by default these days and it could be, if you just applied the Version 2004 Feature Update, that it reverted to the "system cannot hibernate" state. I never hibernate my systems except manually, and that's exceedingly rare. Sleep is plenty low-power and faster to wake up from.

After 30 minutes the system is off.. I was scare.. but i look at the Event Viewer No errors or warnings founds.

If this is a one-time occurrence, it could easily be secondary to a power outage, and I mean a very brief one, that's just enough for the computer to shut off.

I thought from your original message that you wanted the system to hibernate, but it would not do so. This last message sounds like the opposite.
