Suggestion for improvement to SFCFix

Aloha,

Ran SFCFix.exe on a system today. It detected the errors in the various logs and ran DISM and then when it was finished attempted to write the SFCFix.txt file. Unfortunately, I had that file open in an editor from a previous run of SFCFix, so creation of the SFCFix.txt file failed and I had to exit SFCFix.exe. I realize that this is a SUE (Stupid User Error), but I don't think it's too difficult to change the code to give us another chance to fix the problem and create the SFCFix.txt file. Right now I have to wait for another hour for SFCFix.exe to run again so that I can see the log file. :banghead:

It appears that DISM fixed the problem.

Are Windows Updates installing for you?

Aloha zcomputerwiz! Yes, Windows Update is working. Please note that with this post I was not seeking assistance with getting Windows Update working, but was suggesting an improvement to SFCFix.exe.
