Sudden BSOD crashes

Hey everyone, a few months ago I built a new system and everything was working fine until recently, when I've started getting BSODs at what seems to be random times. I first tried the driver verifier tool but it was causing my computer to repeatedly crash before I could get into Windows, so I had to disable it via safe mode. After much googling I found the forums here and I'm really hoping to find a solution to these crashes. Thanks in advance!

· OS - Windows 10 Pro x64 1903
· What was the originally installed OS on the system? Windows 10 Pro x64
· Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)? Retail version, free upgrade from Windows 7 I purchased.
· Age of system (hardware) 3 months
· Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? 3 months, haven't reinstalled since building the system.

· CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
· Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
· MotherBoard: Asus ROG Crosshair VII Hero
· Power Supply: 750W Fatality PSU (leftover from old build but was tested and works fine)
· Laptop or Desktop? Desktop

Test one stick at a time and alternate slots to rule out motherboard failure. :-)

Ok I will have to post the results in about 9 hours, need to get some sleep now. Thank you for your help - and I'll be back with results of testing each stick at a time.

PFNs are used to map to physical addresses; commonly that bugcheck is usually due to bad RAM.

I tested each stick of ram separately (4x8GB) and the results came back with 0 errors. I'm trying the test now with only 2 instead of all 4. When I tested all 4 together yesterday the test couldn't finish due to so many errors. Is it possible that one of the DIMM slots on my motherboard is bad?

Yes I did test each stick individually and no errors came back. My motherboard mfg suggests when only using one stick to use a specific DIMM only (the furthest right slot) - will it cause problems if I use only one stick in other slots?

Also tested just 2 sticks in and no errors. Now I have 4 sticks back in and it's on test 10 in the first pass, no errors so far.

The only guess I have is that somehow something came loose, although I haven't moved the tower. I did actually check to make sure each stick was in securely before I started any testing at all, and everything seemed fine. I'm not sure if anything else could cause results like this.

I should also mention that the first ram kit I had actually did have a bad stick, so it was replaced with this set that seemed to work well, for a while at least, after I installed it. I was feeling really annoyed that even the replacement ram potentially has problems...

So the BSODs started again today, 3 in a row each with different errors. They rebooted so fast I didn't catch the error codes.

I'm running the RAM tests again now, not sure what else to do.

Update: the test is hanging at "Measuring CPU/cache/mem speeds"

Update 2: I forced a reboot and now the test is running with a ton of errors like yesterday. I don't understand, after spending all day yesterday testing every stick it was working fine and now it's busted again. I'm really confused.

So the memory test errored out, I rebooted and now my computer is frozen here. There is no animation on the loading circle graphic, it's just frozen.

Running the RAM test with one stick and there are 0 errors with the first pass, just like yesterday's tests. I don't understand why everything broke again today, even after I ran memtest with all 4 sticks as the final test yesterday.

Should I RMA my motherboard?
