Here's what I got:
Computer is stuck in a loop of "Restart your computer to install important updates". I have gone back and removed all updates that have been installed within the last month. Initially I was saw some 0x800f0805 errors so I ran CheckSUR to clean these up. This came back clean so I started removing updates that I saw tied to the 0x800f0805. This resulted in some damage that CheckSUR was able to fix. The update in question was KB3020369. Now, even though the update is repaired, it is still being referenced as a troubled update but I'm not sure if it is the culprit behind the Windows can't update important files message.
One final area of concern is the nature of KB3020369 which doesn't seem to be able to be removed. There is no uninstall method via programs and features, and when I tried to utilize pkgmgr I ran in to errors. Funnily enough, KB3020369 has a pkgmgr update in it.
Due to the size of the CBS files, I have uploaded the file to OneDrive below.
Microsoft services
Edit note: The repair of 3020369 was complicated in the fact that the cab downloaded from Microsoft did not contain the requested files necessary to complete the repair. I found a different website with the correct files to complete the repair. Perhaps this is the problem behind not being able to remove the update with pkgmgr?
