The same SSD keeps corrupting even after fixing with manufacturer. The SSD got replaced but after a while, the same problems started arising again. Clean install of windows on same SSD and attempting to open most files that were previously installed on pc or downloading any new files returns C:/windows/SYSTEM32/ntmarta.dll was not found. sfc/ scannow has been ran and it returns the error visible in the screenshots. chkdsk c: has also been ran and it returns some corruption directories but cannot continue due to being in read only mode. Makinf chkdsk run on startup will make the widows not work anymore and require reinstalling, leading to the same problems Any further instructions on how to fix these issues or come to a specific component that needs replacing is very welcome. [HRESULT = 0x80070571 - ERROR_DISK_CORRUPT] Hi and welcome to Sysnative, I would suggest to check the health of the SSD first, this is not a problem with Windows Update but rather a hardware related issue. So I moved this thread to the hardware forum. Please start with this tool to check the SSD. Follow the instructions below to check your SSD drive with GSmartControl Download GSmartControl to your desktop. Extract the zip file to your Desktop. Open the folder gsmartcontrol-1.1.4-win64 which should be located on your Desktop and double-click gsmartcontrol.exe to launch the program. Identify your drive in the list (if recognized by the tool), and hover your mouse over it. Please note: If the SMART Status reads: Unsupported, stop and let me know. Otherwise: > double-click on the (problematic) drive you want to test. Open the Self-Tests tab, then select Extended Self-test in the Test type drop-down list and click on Execute (this test can take a few hours to complete). Open the Attributes tab and if you have any entries highlighted in red or pink, take a screenshot of the GSmartControl window and attach it in your next reply;
