Hi,

I have an ASUS laptop, running Windows 7 and after receiving my "invitation" I tried to download and install the Windows 10 upgrade, but received and error message "0x80070057. I tried to install an update to my Intel Graphics adapter, thinking this might be the problem, and received an error code "80070103". I did a Google search, and discovered that this is a common problem with ASUS computers and Windows 10. I tried the solutions I found, which was running SFC, uninstalling ASUS Web Storage and Office 10 Starter Kit, both of which came pre-installed on my laptop. The SFC log shows that the "PINTLGB.IMD" is corrupt and cannot be repaired. In addition, I tried stopping Windows Update, renaming the SoftwareDistribution
folder, restarting my computer, and re-starting Windows Update. I still receive the error message trying to install the Intel update, and my Windows 10 upgrade is not available anymore.

I have followed the instructions for posting to the forum, and downloaded SFCFix.exe. It was unable to repair the file.

Here is a copy of the log file: SFCFix version 2.4.5.0 by niemiro.

Looks like the Windows 10 Upgrade made it up to the user welcome. What happened at that point? Did the machine bluescreen and restart?

Excellent :thumbsup2:

I'll mark the thread solved. If you encounter any problems post back and I will continue to assist you.
