[Sysnative Windows Update]

Howdy!

After 4 happy years with my S5 it's time for a change. I will not be buying now, but around B-Day time.

I'd love to hear some user feedback (if possible). Apple is a definite no.

The phones I've considered:


S9+
P20 Pro

XZ2 Premium
S9 Note (releasing just around B-Day)


Important:

Android
Min 6+''

Good and loud speakers

mSD slot (preferable, but I could survive without it if I get at least 128GB of internal storage)

Higher resolution than FHD

Good battery
3.5mm headphone jack if possible.

I would argue that you should consider a Galaxy S8+ instead of the S9. The S9 will cost more and it just comes with a slightly better camera. You may be able to get a deal on an S8 instead.

Thanks. I see your point, but I'm the guy who upgrades every 4-5 years and I want only the latest tech when I upgrade, so I'm willing to spend a bit more. :smile9:

I would go for the Oneplus 6, or if it eventually might be announced the Oneplus 6T.

Very difficult to get ahold of in my country. What's worse, the customer service is horrible.

Not a fan of these Xiaomi/Honor/Meizu phones + eBay purchase is not an option for me. I'll be extending my contract and since it's a business contract I need to do it in Croatia's official retail store (T-Mobile in my case).

Just to update this:
The Note 9 has been announced and it will be released on August 9th in all likelihood 6GB RAM/128GB storage, so I'll try to grab one when it arrives :)
