Sleep mode and shutdown problem

Hi,

since last week i have a problem with my laptop, when i put my laptop into sleep mode it goes into sleep mode but after like 1 minute the fan starts running and i have a black screen my only option is to restart the laptop by holding the shutdown button. Another problem i get is when i shut down my laptop normally, i get a black screen and my fan keeps running.

As seen here, you are not a alone. Nor is there a common, simple fix. I had this same problem on my Toshiba after upgrading to W10. No matter what I tried, nothing worked until one day I noticed it hadn't happened in awhile. I can only assume some update fixed it.

You need to make sure Windows and your drivers are fully updated.
