I am facing issues very similar to the issue described here:

Unfortunately, this is the only result thta google was able to find that matches my problem, and the fix provided appears to be a 1 of 1 kind of fix.
Would it be possible for anyone to share more insight into what was provided in the "sfcfix" tool used in the above thread, or assist me in working through whatever is needed on my individual system?
