Hi and welcome to Sysnative,

Upload a copy of the CBS folder
  • Open Windows Explorer and browse to the C:\Windows\Logs folder.
  • Right-click on the CBS folder and choose Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
  • Now the message will appear, "Windows cannot create the Compressed (zipped) Folder here. Do you want it to be placed on the desktop instead?"
  • Click on the Yes button here.

  • Attach the file CBS.zip to your next reply. If the file is too large to attach, upload the CBS.zip file to www.wetransfer.com and post the link in your next reply.

Export registry key as hive file.
  • Open the Start menu of Windows and type CMD.
  • When you see Command Prompt on the list, select the option Run as administrator.
  • Copy and paste the following command into the command prompt and press enter.
Code:
reg save "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\Taskcache" "%userprofile%\Desktop\TaskList.hiv"
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called TaskList.hiv.
  • ZIP this file and attach it to your next reply.

UPDATE: problem solved!

I did the update process with the local admin account, not with the domain-admin. After that, the updates installed smoothly.

best regards

Hi,

Great, but could you please provide the files for me, I'am very curious if it was exactly the same issue.

Unfortunately, all the older CBS logs have been deleted! If you have the same problem with the next cumulative update and the domain account we can take a look again if you want.
