Hello guys. I have a windows vista OS which developed a problem lately. It all started when I tried to shutdown and install certain updates which had been downloaded automatically based on system settings. The shutdown took forever (more than seven hours) and I had no choice but to force a shutdown. It now won't shutdown when I give the command, doesn't obey commands to install new programs, and sometimes the CD drive ejects on its own. Any help? I tried to do a system restore but that didn't help.
