I tried SFCFix as recommended solution for my Windows defender and rarely BSOD issue.
1. Windows defender is unable to start live protection, after I uninstalled my previous Antivirus program. I also did reinstallation and unistallation of ex. AV program, but W Defender is again stating the same.
2. BSOD (error code: unexpected store exception) happens from time to time. Maybe is random, but I noticed that usually happens when browsing Mozilla Firefox.

Now, I don't know about BSOD yet, but SFCFix is not solving my Windows Defender issue.

CBS.log shows some "could not reproject, and cannot repair".

In attachment. Thanks so much in advance!

I resolved first one - it was spy bot s & d which was blocking Defender to be live.

But forgot to mention one more problem I have in previous post: my computer is waking up from hibernation/sleep.

*correction = is waking up by himself or is even not waking up (have to hard restart it).

I'd like to get some information about the bluescreen codes.

1. Download the Sysnative BSOD Dump + System File Collection App - save to Documents folder -
SysnativeBSODCollectionApp.exe - Sysnative

2. Run the app - Double-click on the downloaded EXE file
Output = new folder created in Documents + a zipped version -- SysnativeFileCollectionApp + SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip

Please attach SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip with your reply.

  2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, then press enter

    powercfg -devicequery wake_armed

  4. Right-click on the Command Prompt window and click Select All, this will invert all of the colors by selecting the text, now press enter. All of this text is now copied.

As you can see, once upon a time I were already playing with it... I removed mouse, and I think I tried the same with both keyboards.

Also, "last wake up from" did not gave any result that any device would wake my computer.

I am wonder is this is in any way connected with SFC - as you see in CBS.log... Is this possible?

SFC shouldn't cause the computer to wake from sleep.

You may want to check your BIOS settings for wake timers, wake on lan, mouse/keyboard etc.

None of those are set. Only thing I have is set on PS2 keyboard: "turn on computer by space button".

The thing is that since I repaired my windows with "Advanced SystemCare", and used SCFFix, errors (BSOD and waking up hibernation) are on much less frequent base. This was approximately two weeks ago. Since then, my computer wakes up after few minutes to one hour or even more, but before that, it was waking up just few second after falling in hibernation. But the biggest issue is, that every time my computer goes to sleep, it just freezes. Can't wake it up without reset button.

Let's try configuring the machine for a clean boot and see if the issue persists:

Clean Boot

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. Or, if you are using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then click Search.
  2. Type msconfig in the search box, and then tap or click msconfig.

  3. On the Services tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click to select the Hide all Microsoft services check box, and then tap or click Disable all.

  4. On the Startup tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click Open Task Manager

  5. On the Startup tab in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then click Disable.

  6. On the Startup tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click OK, and then restart the computer.

Did not work for me. Computer freezes anyway. Maybe one more thing that could be interesting, and I forgot to mention - when I restart my computer from that state (after "bad" sleep), I get following message: ***** Warning: System BOOT Fail ***** Your system last boot fail or post interrupted Please enter setup to... set default etc..

Hiagain zcomputerwiz.

Today I had same BSOD again (unexpected store exception). But I think we might be a bit closer to resolving the problem. Please read next:

When I was playing Mirrors Edge, my mouse and keyboard stucked, so the Faith (player or character) were just going straight in the last working direction of the mouse and keyboard. I was trying to go out with win-key, ctrl+esc and last task manager (ctrl, alt, delete), and no response. Plug out and in usb devices - no response, nor led light on mouse. Then I took PS2 keyboard, which was responding normally, and went to task manager to restart. When computer was going to restart that BSOD shown.

So in my opinion this BSOD is symptom of some USB controller chip setting or driver or something responsible for usb devices. What do you think?https://www.sysnative.com/forums/members/7990-zcomputerwiz/

Few CPU sets only on auto. Nothing manually. PC was stable with those settings for years.

Try resetting any overclocking settings to defaults - especially for the front side bus and pci-e clock.
Make sure that XMP is enabled if your RAM supports it, otherwise be sure those timings are set as per the manufacturer's settings.

Have you run Prime95 for stability testing before?
