Dear Sysnative team,

even though i have brand new HP Omen laptop sfc /scannow shows corrupted files which couldn't be fixed. I've tried sfc in safe mode and DISM. Nothing worked.
Now i'm trying to use sfcFix but it crashes anytime i use it.
I've also tried to attach cbs.log but the file is too large to be uploaded here (8 MB)

thank you for your answers.

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
  2. Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put
    Code:
tags around the log to break up the text.

SFC Scan

  1. Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

    sfc /scannow

Wait for this to finish before you continue

    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log %userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt
  4. This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.

CBS.log - Google Drive

not much. As i said, it is brand new laptop. I installed an antivirus, browser, a few games to try the system out. I downloaded demo version of Doom from steam but could not run it, i've tried all sorts to make the game run.
one of possible solutions was to install directx. That didn't work on my laptop.

so i did this: YouTube

the game still doesn't run though.

that is about everything i've done so far.

DOOMx64.exe-System error

The code execution cannot proceed because XINPUT1_3.DLL was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

I figured it would be the DirectX issue -> post before.

I tried that too, then it wanted a different file. When i finally provided all the files all i get is black screen.
It made me run sfc. It found corrupted files and you know the rest. Do you have any idea why it keeps finding these files?
Overall i'm very happy with my new laptop, this is the only thing that bugs me. Everything else seems to be working just fine.

sfc is clean now! "Windows resource Protection did not find any integrity violations"
Thank you very much. may i ask what was wrong with my system?
