Hello from Kiev! My problem is very much like this one: www.sysnative.com/forums/windows-update/14779-3-corrupted-files-found-after-running-sfcfix.html

However, I followed the instructions twice (dragged the zip file to SFCFix etc.,) and still have the same problem even if it reported that the files had been replaced.

Then I run SFCFix without a script file and here is my log file:

SFCFix version 2.4.5.0 by niemiro.
Start time: 2015-09-06 21:36:34.705
Microsoft Windows 8.1 Update 3 - amd64
Not using a script file.

I have Win 8.1 coming with my hp 2000 and I don't have a Win installation disk (SFCFix asks for one).

I tried as well twice to upgrade to Win 10 however it would not activate :(. I suspect the problem is with these corrupted files, so I rolled back to Win 8.1. but the problem persists. What could be done? Thanks.

Hi kentavr55 :)

As you can see in the thread you linked, these files aren't corrupt, they are just falsely reported as such by SFC. This is due to the nature of these files, and Microsoft is fully aware of it (hence why they mention it in the KB article related to the update). They said that they'll eventually fix these via an update. These files won't cause any problem on your system, and aren't the reason why you cannot activate your Windows 10 installation.
