OS: Win 7 SP1
Current issues: SFC corruptions couldn't be fixed from scannow/SFCFix
Windows update failed to load
A lovely variety of codec errors on boot, shutdown, win7 USB/DVD recovery. I have no idea where my manufacturer's recovery disk is so I went to go through this instead, errors for days results in the program crashing.
Back story, if relevant:
Buddy of mine ordered a new computer, went to build it himself. He popped his SDD into my laptop to prepare for his OS, install everything get it all up and running so when he gets his motherboard it'd be all ready to go. I go ahead and go to sleep, wake up the next morning his stuff is running perfectly fine in my rig. No issues that either of us could see. Power down, pull it out, replace his SDD with my HDD (just olds all my games and such) on boot I get a Win10 error (unexpected to me, I have no intentions whatsoever to "upgrade") It provides:
Recovery
Your PC/Device needs to be repaired yada yada error code 0xc00000e and requests recovery tools. I essentially tell it to **** off, F2 for startup options circles back to this screen, the other option refreshes the error screen, the final option was to boot another operating system. No big deal, I go this way. Aside from that everything is running fine I suppose. Nothing out of the ordinary is noticeable at the time. GWX pops up as always so I figured its just lingering files or whatnot. A few days pass (no reboots or anything) and I go to make a Skype call.. I get an error for windows audio service.. Its now that I decide to do my monthly windows update check assuming somehow the win10 is affecting everything else (I prefer to do these updates on my time, windows is often bad at timing). I get the updates all ready to install, go to shutdown and it configures for updates on the way down. On the way back up though, I get that lovely win 10 error again. Select the boot other operating system option, I then get bombarded with windows codec errors. Its like the starting windows animation came with a minigame to see how many error pop ups you can close before it loads. This time it seems like everything is wrong, my desktop is black, aero seems to have vanished and been replaced by the class windows bar, still no audio, every file is still here, but any .exes risk a codec error. I go to msconfig and just delete the win10 (should've done this in the very beginning) I restart in hopes that windows update will resume the installation process and maybe, just maybe the computer will perform properly. Of course nothing happens, shutting down gives errors, boot up returns with errors. I go attempt a SFC /scannow and I get the sfc found corrupt files but "was unable to fix" message. I then attempt dism, similar deal. I'm now out of ideas so I prowl the net and get led to a SFCFix ran by you lovely peeps. It provides the obvious.
I'd like to believe that if I just find my recovery disk most of this will go away, but I'm unsure... So I'm in your hands now, take care of me :)
Prefer to avoid a system reinstall. Most recent restore point is a year back. That's a few months after my BSODs stopped and I didn't expect any errors to be coming my way. I do restore points on other systems when I plan on doing any modifications to it, but this time.. I didn't expect win10 to try hijacking my setup xD

I attempted to attach the CBS rar, but I suppose it's too big for your system? The RAR is 11MB, the text file when opened is ~200MB. So I've gone ahead and uploaded to my google drive.
