Hello Sysnative!

SFC seems unable to complete the scan. It achieves 98% completion before exiting without being able to fix the corrupted files. DISM also outputs that it cannot find the source files and exits with error 0x00f081f just before completion.

What was done so far: Initially SFC stopped at 96% I was able to increase the percentage by using the /StartComponentCleanup switch for DISM and a local source install.wim which was extracted from a recovery media. I also tried to execute both tools in Safe Mode just in case but with no further improvements.

Some background: Recently I run into a problem with my VPN connection and although I have contacted the developer to help me with the problem I tried to do an independent investigation as well and that's when I identified the above issue. I am wondering if it's related.

Can you please help to overcome the problem?
