Hello. I have a computer that I am working on that I have exhausted all that I know to do, so I am hoping that someone can help.

The computer is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

There is several corrupted files that sfc /scannow, SURT, and SFCFix have been unable to repair on their own. In my attempts to solve it myself, I tried a repair installation, but that failed as well.

I am attaching the latest scan logs for sfc /scannow, System Update Readiness Tool, as well as SFCFix.exe (CBS.log, CheckSUR.log, SFCFix.log)

Thank you guys so much for your help. Been reading these forums for years now and have only just now needed to actually sign up due to the great information here.

Step 2:
Follow the instructions below to run a scan with the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) and provide a log.
  1. Download SURT for your system. (Windows 7 SP1 x64)
  2. Once downloaded, execute the installer, and go through the installation (this process can take around 15-20 minutes).
  3. On completion, a log will be created in C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log.
  4. Attach this log to your next reply.
Alternatively, if these instructions are unclear for you, you can follow the tutorial below.
