Hi there,

I've got a weird Win8.1 problem: DISM runs successfully and reports no problems but sfc /scannow is reporting unfixable corrupt files. I looked at the CBS log and cleaned it:

Hey, we're sorted!

It was slightly convoluted - I ran your latest solution, which gave a clean result from SFC \SCANNOW. I then ran Windows Update, because it was Patch Tuesday... and then SFC failed again. But, I ran DISM, which identified and then resolved some problems, and re-ran SFC - and it's now clean!

I've attached the latest CBS log for info though.

Many, many thanks indeed. It's a nice feeling to have a happy computer again. :View attachment cbs.zip)
