I am new here. I googled one of the errors in my CBS.log file and it brought me to this forum.

I have run the following:

sfc /scannow
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

My CBS.log contains error that state they cannot be fixed. How do I fix them?

Running Windows 2019 Server Standard.

Thank you in advance.

Hi and welcome to Sysnative,

Step 1. Download
6530fbb0f4101-56f31e53c97da-SFCFix.PNG
SFCFix and save it to your desktop.

Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.
  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
  • Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the System File Checker and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
Code:
SFC /Scannow

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

Please attempt to update, if KB5041578 fails provide the latest CBS logs.

Should I be concerned about this entry in my Event Viewer?

Cryptographic operation.

Hmm, error 0x80090016 means:
Rich (BB code):
  NTE_BAD_KEYSET winerror.h
# Keyset does not exist
# as an HRESULT: Severity: FAILURE (1), FACILITY_SSPI (0x9), Code 0x16

This seems to be an Active Directory / Certificate Services issue? Maybe you'll need to renew some CA certificates! Active Directory Certificate Services did not start: Could not load or verify the current CA certificate. corp-SRV-CA Keyset does not exist 0x80090016 (-2146893802 NTE_BAD_KEYSET). - Microsoft Q&A
Install Successful.

Great, but I don't think we can help with error above.
