My tale begins with a trip down memory lane- when I decided to revisit SWTOR (cuz its free now ) :banghead: I had trouble connecting to their servers. It seemed every third or fourth try, though, I'd get in so I chalked it up to packed servers or the weather or something. Didn't put too much thought into 'til the next day, when it happened again, this time warranting a tech support call to the guys at SWTOR. No matter how many times I'd try connecting I kept getting an infernal 'error code: 1003' lol They were most helpful, leading me further down this rabbit hole with 'chkdsk's and 'sfc /scannow's (I'll admit I'm not exactly the most computer literate lol) but when an error reared its ugly head my metaphorical trip detoured me to the Queen of Hearts herself, Microsoft's online tech support (at least I wasn't stuck on the phone with them ). They told me they couldn't help me unless I paid "$99" for their advanced tech supportery "or try out our ASSURE program, only $149 for 1 year"- and when I told 'em I was broke and couldn't afford their help they suggested to "just use a credit card and worry about the debt later".
Long story short!- here I am!
"2014-08-09 18:20:23, Info CSI 00000310 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:22{11}]"PINTLGB.IMD" of Microsoft-Windows-IME-Simplified-Chinese-Core, Version = 6.1.7601.17514, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch"
I've got an ASUS G74S. I also uninstalled ASUS Web Storage, to no avail. The error just won't go!
Help me Obi Niemiro (and company) Kenobi! You're my only hope! (Help me get back to Wonderland, or in this case Tatooine )
Thank you guys for your time.
Danny
