Running Windows 7 32 bit
Windows Update will not update Internet Explorer to 10 or 11 and a Net Framework update fails.
Ran scannow both in Windows and through Windows CD repair mode.
Ran SFCFix and below is the txt file with two corrupted files. How do I fix them?

SFCFix version 2.4.1.0 by niemiro.

Thanks a million! On phone with Microsoft Windows Security tech for hours and no solution. Hope you can help.

Could not upload my cbs.zip file before time ran out to edit my post. Will use large file method to upload it and am saying that I am being helped on this forum if that is all right.

Hi Billy and welcome to Sysnative forums :)

The CBS folder would not let me unzip the file for some reason.

Lets get these two files fixed up before anything else:
Code:
CORRUPT: C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_netfx-aspnet_webadmin_prov_res_b03f5f7f11d50a3a_6.1.7600.16385_none_b65932b0d71acf0d\chooseProviderManagement.aspx.resx
CORRUPT: C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_netfx-aspnet_webadmin_prov_res_b03f5f7f11d50a3a_6.1.7600.16385_none_b65932b0d71acf0d\manageProviders.aspx.resx

The log looks good to me :)

Who is windows update going?

If it is still an issue please do the following

Please follow the instructions Here to run the System Update Readiness Tool. When the SURT finishes installing, copy (Ctrl + C) and paste (Ctrl + V) the contents of the SURT log into your next post please:
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log

Whew! Glad the log looks good and....I was able to successfully update the Net Framework Microsoft fix...see here:
Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 on Windows 7 SP1 x86 (KB2937610)

Installation date: ‎9/‎23/‎2014 5:51 PM

Installation status: Successful

Now, another update has suddenly appeared in my update list. It's 143 MB's so I'll have to download it tonight during Hughes Net's FAP free time.
I also have to enable IE 9 on my system (took it off when I could not update it) and see if the IE 10 or 11 can be installed.
If all goes well I won't need to follow the SURT instructions, correct?
Very happy with the progress! Am attaching a jpeg of the new 143 MB Windows Update that has appeared.
Will report back tomorrow.

Thanks for the help. No need to reply until I post again. :thumbsup2:
