hi. found this tool last night, as got windows 10 1511, latest update, but still waiting for the annivesary update to come via windows update and got a e-mail from microsoft the other night, as in australia, and said it could be up to three months, so did a sfc scan now, and said they found corrupted files but could not fix, same issue with the dism restore health command. so found a tool called sfc fix, and so ran it, and it fixed some errors, but not all and then it saves a text file. so will paste the contents below. so , how to fix the other corrupted files. don't want to reinstall windows 10 or reset, last time i tried to do a reset or install the annivseary update, lost all my audio devices, and so had to get microsoft disability help desk to remote into my machine with sighted help, roll back to widnows 7, then roll back to widnows 10 current build. so will paste below. any tips, how to get the rest of these corrupted files working. and do a windows update and found a script, how to put a short cut to my desktop. so will paste below. any ideas. marvin. ps: pasting below. these forums are really accessible with my screen reader, a good job, and well done. some forums, their accessibility lacks a lot, but yours if is great.

hi. did that and pasting the results, could not fix it, so do i just then run the sfc fix, did that last night. any help or any other tools to fix. marvin. Administrator: Command Prompt

I had a similar issue that Windows Anniversary edition fixed (which itself has its own issues).
I know that microsoft has a stand alone Anniversary update you can download. That's how I originally upgraded.

I had to download a complete local image of windows build 1511 and reference the local copy to get the files to clean.
I don't know where you'd get that now.

hi. so how do i do this and where do i get this. having internet issues, our national broadband network, fiber, we have a problem with our nbn box, go and google nbn australia. and a sighted it friend who works for our local gov, did a packet tracer test, and on our home phone, died, but now just got a message back from them, saying he has to do the packet tracer test from the nbn box, not our isp box, and then another few weeks to see if they can fix the issue, and he says dealing with nbn and internode worst firm to deal with. since tpb ADSL Internet Broadband ISP took over iinet iiNet Australia. so, where to get the iso, and which files to copy over, and then a step by step guide how to do this and using a screen reader. will this fix this, and so lost my audio, and had to get microsoft to remote with sighted help, roll back to windows 7, then current windows 10, still waiting and cold be up to three months, for it to show up in windows update. frustrated.

hi, tried that sitgh. tried with jaws and nvda, when i press on the button, nothing happens, tried it with firefo and internet explorer. microsoft edge, does not work with most screen readers yet. so, how to fix, any other tools or files, did do a windows update diag, found somethings, but still waiting for the annviesary update via windows update and how to fix the issues using sfc fix, or any other tools, or maybe more people who are more expert in this area.
marvin.

I don't know what to say then. I just tried it now in Chrome 52.0.2743.116 and it works. No Extensions. Press the button, it takes maybe 10 sec, then the download starts.

hi. well, can you send me the link, and the instructions, now trying the sfc fix again, and the dsim restore health is running, so, how to fix these files, if still corrupted, and where to get them and where to replace. first time doin this sort of thing. any help, any other tools, any help.

That is the link that I posted. There is no hard link. If you get the windows anniversary update, you don't need to worry about the rest.
Try updating chrome, allowing java, and then try the button

hi, which link, can you send it, also instructions how to use crhome, have not really used it much, was not really that accessible with my screen reader a few months back but more accessible now, so can you help

hi, does not work that page, click on the button, nothing happens. so will see if another sfc fix scan will fix, and then send you the corrupte files, and then maybe send me the new versions, and then where to put them. marvin. ps: will that then cause any problems, or will that fix, then do another scan. marvin.

hi. tried another scan, got errors this time. still waiting for the latest update to come up in windows update, then no mistakes of selecting the wrong items, and my home phone is not working, and would be too expensive on my mums mobile. so pasting below, is there another easier way, did send the text file, so maybe might send that again, and then maybe send me the new files and where to put them. don't want to force the updat eyet. this is so frustrating. marvin.
