Hi!
I had a corrupted volume on a Windows 8.1 after a power shutdown, and I mainly noticed that chkdsk was not able to run.....
So first, I start the Windows 8 repair mode, and issue a CHKDSK, which corrects a lot of things.
I rebooted, and tried SFC, which says it can't work (due to a problem with repair service) (Translated from french....)
I try it in Offline mode, but same issue....
So, I run DISM, who found corruptions, and correct them.
After this, I was able to reboot and run SFC.
I did this several times, but every time, I get SFC reporting me that damaged files was found, but was unable to repair them.
And if I check the CBS.log file, I don't see anything abnormal, except the [DIRSD OWNER WARNING] ?
Any advice?
Thanks for your help!
