I have for some time had problems trying to install the odd software program the most recent is Google Earth which installs but then wont run, it comes up with a initialising message but then nothing happens.

I have discovered how to run the sfc check via command prompt and got the attached text file which appears to show a file or exec called napstat as being faulty.

please can some one assist me by explaining what to do next.
thank you
Alistair

Hello and welcome.

Please provide the file CBS.log:

  1. Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, then press enter.

    Code:
    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
  4. This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.
Note: if the file is too big to upload to your next post please upload via a service such as Filedropper or One Drive or SendSpace and just provide the download link.

Thank you very much for looking at this for me, its driving me mad there are 3 software programs I have installed but all will not run sample messages attached along with a link to wetransfer for the text file you requested.
