I am so sorry to have took that much time before providing you an update.
The Windows update seems to have been corrected. However, when I executed sfc /scannow, I still have this message: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log.
